At a meeting with Iranian entrepreneurs in Tehran, Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi highlighted the Foreign Ministry’s active role in advancing the country’s economic diplomacy. He stressed that lifting sanctions and boosting Iran’s economy are key missions, marking a shift toward an operational approach in economic diplomacy.
Araghchi outlined the ministry’s field-oriented strategy, which includes supporting economic projects, addressing banking, transport, and legal challenges, and facilitating cooperation with international partners. This approach aims to remove obstacles and streamline foreign economic engagement.
He also emphasized the pivotal role of entrepreneurs and economic activists, noting that supporting the private sector strengthens national capacity and makes collaboration with regional and neighboring countries more effective.
