Alwaght- Al Khalifa regime, reportedly, once again came to the conclusion that it should embark on another round of negotiations with revolutionaries.
Al Khalifa regime is examining the approach it should take to negotiate with the revolutionaries to reach an agreement with them.
Al Khalifa is afraid of any democratic change in Bahrain assuming that it will lead to a lion share for Shiites in the political power structure of Yemen. Shiites make up the majority of the citizen population in Bahrain. Therefore, the Al-Khalifa's main strategy is to prevent any serious and profound reforms in Bahrain.
To achieve this objective, Al Khalifa applies some trivial and superficial reforms and conducts dialogue in social and economic areas. National dialogue in Bahrain idiosyncratically arranged by Al-Khalifa aimed at setting out issues related to the political and power structure in Bahrain.
Therefore, Bahraini opposition decided to quit talks and peruse their demands through other ways including huge rallies all over the country.
Yesterday, revolutionaries carried out peaceful protests in all cities for anniversary of February 14th and wanted the release of Sheikh Ali Salman and all political leaders of the movement.
Opposition resistance made Al Khalifa to plea for the restart of negotiation that is a sign of weakness and failure of the regime against the will of the people for implementing reforms. Because the government of Bahrain led by Al Khalifa is well aware of the problems in the region, especially after changing the balance of power in the region, and the main supporter of Al Khalifa, namely Saudi Arabia, could not support the regime as before.
