ALWAGHT- During talks in Tehran, Iranian and Chinese senior diplomats reaffirmed their commitment to deepening bilateral cooperation.
Chinese Vice Foreign Minister Miao Deyu met with his Iranian counterpart, Majid Takht Ravanchi, in Tehran on Monday. The meeting took place alongside Miao’s visit for a trilateral summit involving Iran, China, and Saudi Arabia.
During the talks, the Iranian deputy minister reaffirmed the countries’ comprehensive strategic partnership and Iran’s determination to advance relations in all fields. He expressed Iran’s readiness to deepen cooperation, implement a long-term cooperation agreement, and welcomed China’s constructive role in promoting regional stability.
The Chinese vice minister echoed this commitment, stating both nations are resolved to develop their relationship despite external circumstances. He added that China is prepared to play a constructive role in enhancing cooperation between Iran and Saudi Arabia, both bilaterally and within the trilateral framework, to support regional peace and stability.
