ALWAGHT- Ayatollah Seyyed Ali Khamenei, Leader of the Islamic Revolution, states that Iran is progressing in spite of immense shortages and difficulties, driven by the steadfastness, sincerity, and commitment to justice among its people.
Ayatollah Seyyed Ali Khamenei said that despite widespread shortages and challenges, Iran continues to move forward through perseverance, sincerity, moral commitment, and the pursuit of justice among its people. Speaking in Tehran on Thursday during a gathering marking the birth anniversary of Fatima al-Zahra, he emphasized that national resilience has generated strength and honor for both Islam and Iran, and that the country remains on a path of progress by God’s grace.
He warned that beyond recent military confrontations, Iran is now facing an extensive propaganda and media war led primarily by the United States, supported by some European countries and aided by what he described as domestic collaborators abroad. Ayatollah Khamenei argued that the enemy has recognized its inability to subdue Iran through military force and is instead attempting to undermine the goals and identity of the Islamic Revolution through psychological pressure, fear-mongering, and media manipulation. He dismissed claims of an imminent renewed war as deliberate efforts to sow anxiety among the public.
Highlighting the concept of national resistance, Ayatollah Khamenei defined it as steadfastness in the face of military, economic, cultural, political, and media pressures. He said Iranians have repeatedly thwarted attempts to alter their religious, historical, and cultural identity, noting that such pressures have persisted for over a century. Stressing vigilance, he called for organized defensive and offensive efforts in the media sphere, asserting that Iran’s continued advancement depends on sustained resistance and the protection of its core identity against both physical and psychological threats.
