Saudis Plotted Syria Troops Deployment Two Years Ago: Assad

Alwaght- Turkey and Saudi Arabia, have been trying to send ground troops to war-torn Syria over the last two years to provide direct support to major Takfiri terrorist groups in the country, President Bashar al Assad has said.
President Assad went on to say “when we discuss whether Turkey or Saudi Arabia will attack or not, this means that we give them credibility, as they are two states that possess a decision or a will that can change the map; they are mere subordinates.”
“Entering Syria and waging a war in Syria is seen within the international frame… it is not a simple issue that Al Saud want to go for picnic in Syria and change everything in it… so we should not be worried, but we have to not rule out stupidities, they are present.”
President Assad made the remarks as reports emerge that Turkish forces have already entered Syria to help terrorists fighting against the Syrian government, and that Riyadh has dispatched warplanes to the southern Turkish air base of Incirlik to participate in the Syria military intervention.
President Assad made the remarks on Monday in Damascus during a meeting with members of the central Bar Association.
On the proposal of cease-fire reached during a meeting of the International Syria Support Group (ISSG) in the German city of Munich on Friday, Assad said any truce means preventing terrorists from reinforcing their positions.  The President affirmed that there are many questions now about who are terrorists, they talk about ISIS, al-Nusra, Ahrar al-Cham or Jaish al-Islam, saying “As a state, anyone who bears weapon against the State and against the Syrian people is a terrorist, and this is indisputable.”
President Assad expressed support for dialogue among Syrians while rejecting any Saudi interference in the talks by stating that: “When we talk about a Syrian-Syrian dialogue, this means that we will negotiate Syrians that belong to the Syrian people, their roots are in Syria, not in the other states, if we negotiated with the Riyadh delegation, so we negotiate Saudi Arabia and we will not discuss with them the Syrian constitution.” He added that Saudis should let people discuss the monarchy’s constitution and the human rights situation in the kingdom.
President Assad affirmed that the real solution, in addition to combating terrorism, is the national reconciliations which have proven a benefit to a great deal, and committing to constitution.
