Syrian Army Establishes Control over Many Areas in Aleppo
Alwaght- The Syrian on Friday started a major military operation against terrorists in Aleppo province, which resulted in establishing control over several areas within a few hours.
According to official Syrian news agency SANA, army units and local defense groups advanced on several sites in the southern countryside of Aleppo city, with the army establishing control over the villages of of Ebtin and Hadadin al-Gharbiyeh, in addition to al-Kassarat (quarries) and al-Madajen (hatcheries) areas in al-Zaitoun farms, killing and injuring many terrorists in the process.
In Homs province, an army unit established control over three blocks of buildings at the train station in Jawalak area and three more blocks near Snaisel village in the province’s northwestern countryside, eliminating a number of terrorists in the process.
Other units eliminated terrorists east of Tasnin village, al-Mashare’a area, Qana al-Assi, Teirmaala, and Talbiseh, while the Syrian Air Force targeted ISIS hideouts and concentrations in al-Qaryatain, al-Tafha, and the surroundings of Shaer field in the province’s eastern countryside, killing many terrorists, injuring others, and destroying their vehicles and equipment.
Meanwhile in Hama province, the Syrian Air Force carried out airstrikes on terrorists’ hideouts east of Ethriya, al-Uqairibat, east of al-Msoudiye, Ben Wardan castle, and al-Anqawi in Hama’s eastern countryside, and in al-Mansoura north of Hama city, leaving many terrorists dead and destroying their weapons and munitions. Syrian military battle against ISIS terrorists entered an new phase late September when Russia started conducting airstrikes against terrorists in the country. A large number of ISIS terrorists in Syria have become discontent with their command and deserted the ranks of the Takfiri extremist group amid the Russian anti-terror operation
