Syrian Army Makes Further Progress in War Against Terrorists
Alwaght-The Syria army continues to make progress in its war on terrorist groups all over the country, inflicting blows including dozens of terrorists and seizing or destroying their weapons and equipment.
According to a Wednesday report of Syria’s official news agency SANA, in Damascus countryside, the Syrian army killed 8 terrorists and injured scores others in military operations against their dens.
Meanwhile in Daraa Syrian troops targeted dens of terrorists of Jabhat al-Nusra and other organizations in the northern countryside of the southern province.
Elsewhere in the central region of Hama, Syrian forces eliminated a number of terrorists while in Homs province ISIS terrorists were targeted southwest of Palmyra city.
Similar operations were carried out by Syrian forces in the coastal province of Lattakia Army where terrorists suffered losses as a weapons depot and a number of vehicles, including an armored one were destroyed.
In Idleb the Syrian air force destroyed vehicles and gatherings of “Jaish al-Fatah” in Khan Sheikhon, Ma’aret Masrin, Ariha and the area surrounding Abu al-Dohour airport in Idleb countryside.
Foreign-backed terrorists began their deadly campaign in Syria in March 2011.  Syrian blames western countries led by the US and their regional allies including the Israeli regime, Saudi Arabia, Qatar and Turkey of being the main backers of terrorists fighting to topple the country’s legitimate government.
The UN says over 7.2 million people have been internally displaced, while more than three million others have fled to other countries due to the intolerable conditions caused by the crisis.
