ALWAGHT- The United States has launched a fresh series of airstrikes on Yemen’s al-Bayda province, along with Sa’ada and Hudaydah, signaling a renewed escalation in the ongoing conflict.
Yemeni media reported that five airstrikes targeted a vocational institute in the al-Sawma’ah district of al-Bayda province late on Saturday, causing significant damage to the facility, which is a key educational and training center for the region. No immediate casualty figures or details on the extent of the destruction were provided.
In a separate attack, US warplanes conducted three airstrikes on the al-Sahleen area in Sa’ada's Kitaf wa al-Boqe’e district, a frequent target due to its proximity to Yemen’s northern border. Additionally, two airstrikes were carried out in the al-Munirah district of Yemen’s western Hudaydah province. Details on casualties or the full impact of these raids remain unclear.
In response to both Israeli aggression against Gaza and continued US-UK military actions in Yemen, the Yemeni Armed Forces have launched retaliatory strikes against Israeli, American, and British interests in the Red Sea and surrounding areas. They have also implemented a strategic blockade of key maritime routes to disrupt military supply lines and exert pressure for international action to address the humanitarian crisis in Gaza. The Yemeni forces have vowed to continue their attacks until Israel halts its offensive in Gaza.
