ALWAGHT- The Iranian Foreign Ministry spokesman has strongly denounced the Zionist regime’s attacks on Lebanon and Syria, warning that the aggression against Lebanon poses a serious threat to international peace and security.
Esmaeil Baghaei warned of the escalating warmongering consequences of the Israeli regime’s actions against Lebanon, urging international bodies to take decisive action. He described the ongoing Israeli aggression against Lebanon and Syria, coupled with the intensified genocidal war in Gaza and the West Bank, as a direct threat to international peace and security.
Baghaei also highlighted Israel's violation of the ceasefire over the past two months, noting that the recent increase in military aggression across Lebanon over the past three days exemplifies Israel's brutality and its disregard for international law and humanitarian principles.
He strongly condemned Israel's strikes in Lebanon, which have resulted in numerous civilian deaths, and expressed condolences to the families of the victims. Baghaei also extended solidarity to the Lebanese people and government, wishing a swift recovery to the injured.
