ALWAGHT- A senior military advisor to Ayatollah Seyyed Ali Khamenei reiterates Iran's unwavering commitment to launching Operation True Promise III.
Major General Yahya Rahim Safavi emphasized that the delay in launching Operation True Promise III is a strategic decision, not a cancellation. He described the postponement as guided by wisdom and reaffirmed that the operation would proceed at Ayatollah Khamenei’s discretion. Safavi praised Iran’s leadership for its foresight and prudence in military planning.
His remarks followed a statement by Major General Mohammad Bagheri, who highlighted Iran’s enhanced military capabilities, claiming they are now ten times stronger than during Operation True Promise II. The previous operations demonstrated Iran’s ability to conduct precise retaliatory strikes against Israeli military and intelligence targets.
Iranian officials have reiterated that the country has only utilized a fraction of its firepower in past operations. The Islamic Republic remains committed to responding to Israeli aggression, showcasing its advanced missile and drone capabilities in previous attacks.
