Iran ’Superior Regional’ Power: Foreign Minister

Iranian Foreign Minister, Mohamad Jadav Zarif

Iranian Foreign Minister says the country has raised as the superior power in the region, depending on the original values of its Islamic Revolution

Alwaght- Iranian Foreign Minister says the country has raised as the superior power in the region, depending on the original values of its Islamic Revolution.

Iran has an undeniable influence over regional and global developments, as the superior power in the region, Iranian Foreign Minister, Mohamad Jadav Zarif told a gathering of the country’s military attaches and defense and police representatives in Tehran.

“Currently there is a possibility to develop the power of the Islamic Iran into a long term stabilized influence, power and authority at an international level,” he said adding that “we are in a tense, sensitive, and decisive period that as the Supreme Leader puts it, it is the dangerous historical turn that requires attention, carefulness, threat recognition, trust, and dependence on local capabilities including the military, economic, and above all, the original Islamic and revolutionary beliefs.”

The foreign minister went on to thank the Iranian Military for hosting the three day conference.

“Foreign policy and relations are a set of measures carried out by different entities that, if under an integrated national system, they could provide national goals,” he said.

Zarif called the conference an opportunity for “idea exchange” on the issue and added “such conferences are good opportunities to reach desired results.”

The first Common Gathering of Iranian Military Attaches and Defense and Police Representatives is under way in the Military Kowsar Hall in Tehran.
