Al-Qaradawi's Words on al-Baghdadi

Wednesday 15 October 2014
Al-Qaradawi's Words on al-Baghdadi

Alwaght-Yusuf al-Qaradawi, the chairman of the International Union of Muslim Scholars, said that Abu Bakr al-Baghdadi was the member of Muslim Brotherhood in his youth and became the leader of ISIS terrorist group when released from the prison.

Yusuf al-Qaradawi in a video clip on internet stated that  al-Baghdadi has been so greedy for leadership since his youth.  He added young men from Qatar and other countries have joined ISIS terrorist group, because of a variey of reasons including fighting unbelievers and going into Paradise.

According to al-Qaradawi, ISIS terrorist group now has called all Muslims who do not follow their thoughts, unbelivers.  Therefore, it is allowed to kill the Muslims, according to their mind.  Al-Qaradawi believes that some measures should be employed against the extremist and hardline groups.

ISIS terrorist group seeks to create a Caliphate over Muslims. But, Caliphate will not be created in this way, because all Islamic countries should be united in order to create a caliphate. Based on Al-Qaradawi's statement, published some weeks ago, establishing a caliphate by ISIS Takfiri terrorists who have occupied the main regions of Iraq and Syria, is not in accordance with the principles of true Islam.  In fact, ISIS terrorists are anti-Isalm.

According to  al-Qaradawi, creating Caliphate and determining Abu Bakr al-Baghdadi as caliphate of Islam world is not based on any law. Thus, such a caliphate which was founded by a terrorist like Abu Bakr al-Baghdadi is worthless.  ISIS terrorist group will have severe and dangeorous consequences for Muslisms both Shiites and Sunnis.
