Distribution of Key Cabinet Posts in Government of National Unity

Alwaght-To solve the recent political crisis in Afghanistan, the key cabinet posts were distributed between Ashraf Ghani and Abdullah Abdullah  as the two electoral campaigns.

Ashraf Ghani was named as president and Abdulah Abdullah as the executive chief and they have signed the power-sharing agreement in which all powers will evenly be distributed between Ghani and Abdullah.  According to this power-sharing agreement, the key cabinet posts will be distributed.

Abdullah Abdullah will be responsible for appointing the following Ministries:

Ministry of Defense, Ministry of Economy, Ministry of Foreign Affairs,  Ministry of Transport and Civil Aviation, Ministry of Finance, Ministry of Hajj and Religious Affairs,    Ministry of Commerce and Industries, and Ministry for the Propagation of Virtue and the Prevention of Vice.

Ashraf Ghani will be responsible for appointing the following Ministries:

Ministry of Agriculture, Irrigation and Livestock, Ministry of Communications and Information Technology, Ministry of Energy and Water, Ministry of Public Health, Ministry of the Interior, Ministry of Education, Ministry of Higher Education, Ministry of Rural Rehabilitation and Development, Ministry of Frontiers, Nations and Tribal Affairs, and Ministry of Information and Culture.
