ALWAGHT- Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian condemned enemy schemes aimed at dividing the Iranian people following multiple failures, asserting that the latest hostile efforts will once again be futile.
Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian, speaking at a large gathering in Tehran marking the 46th anniversary of the Islamic Revolution, dismissed claims that Iran has been weakened and is vulnerable to attacks. He emphasized that the resilience of the Iranian people, guided by the Supreme Leader, has consistently thwarted enemy plots. Pezeshkian credited the 1979 revolution's success to national unity, which curtailed foreign interference, and asserted that despite decades of hostile attempts—including assassinations, coups, war, and sanctions—Iran has remained steadfast.
The president strongly criticized the United States for its contradictory approach toward Iran, particularly under former President Donald Trump, who spoke of negotiations while supporting hostile measures. He pointed out the hypocrisy of US sanctions, which restrict essential supplies such as medicine, food, and water, while American officials claim to seek dialogue. Pezeshkian also condemned US support for the Zionist regime, accusing it of fueling instability in the region through attacks on Gaza, Lebanon, Syria, and Palestine, despite claims of promoting peace.
Pezeshkian further addressed the ongoing propaganda against Iran, asserting that the Islamic Republic prioritizes strengthening ties with its neighbors. He underscored that Iranian leadership recognizes conflict as an obstacle to progress but accused enemies of deliberately sowing discord among Muslim nations to prevent Iran’s stability and development. Stressing Iran’s commitment to peace, he reaffirmed the country’s determination to resist external interference and safeguard its sovereignty.
