Alwaght- Hezbollah resistance fighters on Monday attacked a military position of the ISIS Takfiri terrorist group in Al-Zweitni area in the eastern region of Lebanon.
The Lebanese Resistance successful attacked the target and destroyed a fortified room used by terrorists, leaving a number of them killed or wounded.
According to Al Manar TV, when terrorists received supporting reinforcements during the attack, Hezbollah troops opened fire using gun rifles and projectile rockets, claiming more casualties among the takfiri group.
As it counts its losses in Qalmoun-Arsal barrens inflicted by Hezbollah and the Lebanese army has augmented, ISIS terrorist group threatened, in a video, the Lebanese army and security forces as well as the governmental officials.
Two of the group's terrorists, thought to be Lebanese, appeared in the video to say that sooner or later ISIS will revenge for it losses by striking the Lebanese security forces, political elite and the resistance fighters.
Hezbollah has declared war on ISIS after the extremists launched an offensive on its positions inside Lebanon this week.
The resistance group has been fighting terrorist groups for more than a month along the border between Lebanon and Syria.
“The battle with ISIL has begun,” Hezbollah Secretary General Sayyed Hassan Nasrallah declared mid-June 2015, vowing to erase the threat ISIS posed to Lebanon and blaming the extremist group for starting provocations.
During past few years, Hezbollah resistance fighters have been helping the Syrian army in their battles against Takfiri terror groups, particularly those operating in the areas near the Lebanese border.
The resistance group says its military role in Syria is aimed at preventing the spillover of the Syria crisis into Lebanon.
