Alwaght- Israeli army attacked a university campus in West Bank firing tear gas inside the campus on Saturday.

The tear gas inhalation lefts some of the students and faculty members in need for medical help, witnesses said.

The Arab-American University in Jenin was first surrounded by Israeli forces before raiding deliberately without citing a clear reason for use of such violent force against the academics.

Israeli regime regularly neglect international  laws and conventions that prohibits attacks on schools and universities as well as other educational centers and raids such centers across west bank repeatedly.

Attack on education center may violate international humanitarian and criminal law and constitute war crime as set out in different global conventions including 1907 Hague Regulations, the 1949 Geneva Conventions and their Additional Protocols, the Rome Statute of the International Criminal Court, and customary international humanitarian law, The Global Coalition to protect Education from Attack (GCPEA) said.
