ALWAGHT- Iranian Foreign Ministry spokesman Esmaeil Baghaei has sharply criticized Israel's renewed attacks on the Gaza Strip, calling them a "continuation of genocide and ethnic cleansing" in the blockaded region.
Israeli airstrikes on Gaza have killed over 400 Palestinians, including women and children, marking the deadliest attacks since a temporary ceasefire began. The renewed assaults have drawn global condemnation, as they violate a fragile truce between Israel and Hamas. The attacks highlight the ongoing humanitarian crisis in the besieged territory.
Iranian Foreign Ministry spokesman Esmaeil Baghaei condemned the strikes, accusing the United States of enabling Israel’s actions. He stated that the attacks are being carried out with Washington’s approval and warned that continued support from the US, Britain, and other Western nations is fueling war crimes in Gaza. He also urged the international community to take decisive action against Israel’s violations of international law.
Baghaei called on the Muslim world, particularly the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC), to push for the prosecution of Israeli leaders in the International Criminal Court (ICC). He emphasized the need to enforce rulings from the International Court of Justice (ICJ) and halt military and financial aid to Israel. The crisis in Gaza escalated after Israel refused to move to the second phase of a truce agreement, which required withdrawing occupation forces.
