ALWAGHT- NATO was put on alert as US President Joe Biden withdrew from the election campaign and the Russian army continued its advance in Ukraine.
Farah Dakhlolah, the NATO spokesperson, announced in a television interview on Monday that the alliance's 500,000 military forces are on maximum alert.
"Since 2014, NATO has undergone the most significant transformation in collective defense in a generation," he stated. "We have implemented the most comprehensive military plans since the Cold War, and more than 500,000 troops are now on standby."
Previously, Russian President Vladimir Putin, in an interview with American reporter Tucker Carlson, detailed that Moscow has no intention of attacking NATO countries, seeing no benefit in such actions.
Putin also remarked that Western politicians often scare their citizens with the supposed threat of Russia to divert attention from domestic issues, but intelligent people recognize this as a lie.
