ALWAGHT- Iran has confirmed the execution of a convicted Mossad spy accused of leaking intelligence on a nuclear scientist who was subsequently killed.
Roozbeh Vadi, a former official with high-level access in a sensitive Iranian organization, was executed after being convicted of espionage and collaboration with Israel's Mossad. According to case documents and his own confessions, Vadi knowingly worked with the Israeli spy agency, leaking classified intelligence, including information on a nuclear scientist who was later assassinated. He was recruited online, evaluated by Mossad officers, and received monthly payments via cryptocurrency for his services.
Vadi underwent technical training and used secure communication tools to transmit critical data. He traveled to Vienna, where he met Mossad agents in secret meetings and was given detailed assignments. Upon returning to Tehran, he regularly submitted intelligence reports and responded to technical queries. His espionage activity was eventually uncovered by Iran’s security forces, who tracked him during a mission and arrested him after confirming his direct ties to Mossad.
Following a thorough legal process, Vadi was charged with espionage, receiving payments for intelligence collaboration, and compromising national security. The Supreme Court upheld his death sentence, citing laws against hostile acts by the Zionist regime. His case is part of a broader crackdown, during which Iran claims to have arrested over 700 Mossad-linked spies and dismantled covert Israeli-operated drone facilities across the country.
