ALWAGHT- Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian expressed appreciation for Pakistan’s cordial support of Iran during the 12-day conflict initiated by the Zionist regime.
During a meeting with Pakistan’s Federal Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi, Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian emphasized the urgent need for unity among Islamic nations to confront what he described as the Zionist regime’s divisive strategies. He warned that the regime seeks to fragment the Muslim world and called on political leaders to remain vigilant and reinforce cohesion to neutralize such efforts.
President Pezeshkian also praised the strong relationship between Iran and Pakistan, noting that both countries have considerable potential for deeper cooperation. He expressed satisfaction with current diplomatic ties and reaffirmed Iran’s readiness to expand mutual engagements through constructive dialogue and joint initiatives.
In response, Minister Naqvi conveyed warm greetings from Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif and commended Iran’s resistance during the recent conflict, attributing the outcome to Iran’s leadership. He reaffirmed Pakistan’s early and strong condemnation of Israeli aggression and described Iran-Pakistan relations as uniquely close and steadily growing, with efforts ongoing to strengthen collaboration in multiple sectors.
