ALWAGHT- According to the IRGC spokesperson, recent regional and global developments have turned to Iran’s advantage after its effective counterstrikes against the Zionist regime in the latest imposed conflict.
General Ali Mohammad Naeini, speaking at a Tehran event honoring “martyrs of the resistance media,” highlighted the strong unity formed between Iran’s military, diplomatic, and media sectors during the recent war initiated by the Zionist regime and the United States. He emphasized that the conflict fostered unprecedented synergy across the Islamic Republic’s institutions and helped reshape global perceptions of Iran’s strength.
According to Naeini, international surveys show that 60% of the global population—and 80% in the region—believe Iran emerged victorious in the conflict, dispelling the narrative of a weakened Iran. He also pointed to the condemnation of Israeli aggression by 120 countries as evidence that global power dynamics have shifted, with Iran gaining strategic ground both regionally and internationally.
The general outlined the timeline of the war, noting that Israel launched strikes on Iranian targets beginning June 13, followed by US attacks on key nuclear sites. In response, Iran’s IRGC Aerospace Force launched 22 waves of missile strikes against Israeli cities under Operation True Promise III and retaliated against the US by targeting the al-Udeid base in Qatar. A ceasefire was reached on June 24, ending the 12-day conflict.
