US Main Party to Gaza War: Foreign Ministry Spokesman

Alwaght- The international community should work to end the UN being hostage to the US policies, said Iranian Foreign Ministry Spokesman Nasser Kan'ani in an X post.

He added that the US is enabling the Israeli genocide in Gaza and blocking any efforts to end the war at the UN Security Council by vetoing the resolutions.

Nasser Kanaani wrote on his X account on Thursday that the savagery and barbarism of the Zionist regime in the Gaza Strip continue in front of the eyes of the world public, but the international community has only expressed its views without taking action to end the barbarism.

The spokesman referred to the nearly 32,000 people killed in Gaza since the war began in early October, most of them women and children, adding that they were killed mostly with the US-provided weapons.

He also touched upon the Israeli regime’s ongoing siege of the Al-Shifa Hospital, which is the largest medical complex in the Gaza Strip. Kanaani called the siege and attack on the hospital horrifying, saying that nobody can describe the scale of this blatant barbarism.
