The top Iranian diplomat also met and exchanged views with Syrian President Bashar al-Assad in Damascus.
The visit was Abdollahian's second visit to Syria since assuming the post of Iran’s foreign minister. On August 29, he met with Syrian President Bashar al-Assad in Damascus.
