Iran’s Leader Praises Nuclear Talks Team, Says Some P5+1 Members Can’t Trusted

Iran’s Leader Praises Nuclear Talks Team, Says Some P5+1 Members Can’t Trusted
Alwaght- Leader of  Islamic Republic of Iran Ayatollah Seyyed Ali Khamenei says some members of the P5+1 group cannot be trusted and therefore asked Iranian authorities to exercise caution in the face of possible violation of the recent nuclear accord.
Ayatollah Khamenei made the comments in response to a letter by Iranian President Hassan Rouhani on the outcome of rigorous negotiations between Iran and the P5+1 states – the US, France, Britain, Russia, China and Germany-- on Tehran’s nuclear program.
The Leader further expressed gratitude to the Iranian nuclear negotiating team for their hard work throughout the talks, saying the conclusion of nuclear negotiations constitutes “an important step.”
Ayatollah Khamenei further said the text of the Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action (JCPOA) must be carefully reviewed and pass through established legal channels, stressing that no room should be given to possible breaches by the opposite sides if the text is approved.
“You are well aware that some of the six states in the opposite side are not trustworthy at all,” the Leader added.
In a letter to Ayatollah Khamenei, the Iranian president commended Iran’s diplomatic victory in the nuclear talks with the P5+1, saying such success was attained after big powers realized that they are not able to stop the Islamic Republic’s progress in the area of nuclear science and technology.
President Rouhani further thanked Ayatollah Khamenei for his steadfast support for the Iranian nuclear negotiating team throughout the lengthy negotiations. He termed the nation’s unity as well as the negotiating team's commitment to the guidelines set by the Leader as the key to the great achievement.
Iran’s recent success thwarted the enemies’ attempts to promote the Iranophobia campaign and strengthened the Islamic Republic’s status in the international arena, Rouhani wrote.
After 18 days of marathon talks in the Austrian capital of Vienna, Iran and the P5+1 group of world powers reached a conclusion on the Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action (JCPOA), which will put limits on Iran’s nuclear program in exchange for the removal of sanctions against the Islamic Republic at once.
The 159-page conclusion will be presented to the Security Council, which will adopt a resolution in seven to 10 days making the JCPOA an official document.
