ALWAGHT- The Yemeni army claims to have successfully struck Ben Gurion Airport in Israeli-occupied Yafa in solidarity with Palestine, following an attack on a US aircraft carrier in the Red Sea.
The Yemeni Armed Forces announced they successfully launched a Zulfiqar ballistic missile at Israel’s Ben Gurion Airport, claiming the operation achieved its objective. However, the Israeli military stated the missile was intercepted before entering Israeli airspace, with sirens sounding in central occupied territories and several West Bank settlements.
The Yemeni military emphasized that US aggression has failed to stop their support for Palestine, vowing to continue attacks until the siege on Gaza is lifted. Spokesperson Brigadier General Yahya Saree revealed that over the past 24 hours, Yemen engaged in three military confrontations with US warships, including the USS Harry S. Truman, using cruise missiles, drones, and naval forces.
Since Israel’s war on Gaza began on October 7, 2023, Yemen has been targeting Israeli and US assets, significantly disrupting operations at Israel’s Eilat port. The Yemeni Armed Forces reiterated their commitment to ongoing strikes until Israel halts its attacks on Gaza.
