ALWAGHT- The Government Media Office in Gaza reports that the severe security conditions and the disruption of the transportation sector have delayed the transfer of many martyrs.
After a two-month ceasefire, Israel resumed its aggression on Gaza with intense airstrikes, killing at least 254 people and injuring over 440, including many critically. The Gaza Health Ministry declared a state of emergency as conditions worsened, with the Government Media Office reporting over 322 people killed or missing in just five hours. The attacks targeted various cities, including Rafah and Nuseirat, causing widespread destruction and panic among residents.
The Israeli military also issued evacuation orders for several neighborhoods, while Gaza's streets remained deserted due to the constant threat of airstrikes. The ongoing siege has left over 2.4 million Palestinians in Gaza without essential supplies, further exacerbating the humanitarian crisis. Medical facilities are overwhelmed and unable to cope with the mounting casualties, as hospitals face shortages of medicines, supplies, and fuel.
The Gaza Health Ministry and local officials condemned Israel's actions as genocide and violations of international law. They warned of a full-scale disaster due to the blockade, which has crippled Gaza's healthcare system. Despite the ceasefire discussions, the violence continues unabated, with the international community largely silent in the face of these escalating atrocities.
