ALWAGHT- Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi arrived in Oman on Sunday to discuss Yemen's situation in the aftermath of US military strikes.
Leading a delegation, Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi traveled to Muscat for talks with his Omani counterpart, Badr bin Hamad Al Busaidi.
The two diplomats discussed regional developments, focusing on the ongoing US military attacks on Yemen. They also exchanged views on strengthening relations between Tehran and Muscat.
The US launched large-scale strikes on Yemen on Saturday after Ansarullah threatened to resume attacks on Israeli-linked ships in response to Israel’s blockade on Gaza. The strikes, which continued into Sunday, targeted Sana’a and several provinces, killing 31 people and injuring 101, mostly women and children, according to Yemeni health officials.
