ALWAGHT- IRGC Navy Commander Alireza Tangsiri affirmed that Iran will defend its rights and interests against any threats, as the US escalates its campaign against the country.
IRGC Navy Commander Admiral Alireza Tangsiri warned foreign powers against threatening Iran’s interests, stating that any attempt to attack, pressure, or endanger the country would be met with full force. He emphasized that while Iran does not seek war, it will respond firmly to any aggression. He also reaffirmed Iran’s stance on the Persian Gulf region, asserting that foreign warships would not be allowed to disrupt regional stability.
Regarding military readiness, Tangsiri highlighted Iran’s fortified defenses, particularly on its three islands, which now serve both defensive and offensive roles. He revealed that Iran possesses missile-equipped boats and long-range weaponry hidden in secret locations. He also expressed Iran’s willingness to conduct joint military exercises with regional Arab countries to strengthen cooperation.
On the topic of resistance movements, Tangsiri underscored that Iran’s support for such groups is based on defending the oppressed rather than imposing control. He pointed out that groups like Hezbollah and Hamas have grown stronger despite external pressure. Concluding his remarks, he stressed that Iran is prepared to confront any threats and will not allow any foreign power to dictate its course.
