ALWAGHT- Two separate terrorist attacks in Iran's southeastern Sistan and Baluchestan province have claimed the lives of at least six individuals, including five members of the military.

On Tuesday, terrorists attacked a ceremony at a school in the city of Bent, located in Iran's southeastern province of Sistan and Baluchestan, resulting in four deaths and two injuries, according to the governor of Nikshahr.

Bent, a small city situated 230 km west of the Pakistan border and 90 km north of the Sea of Oman, witnessed gunmen opening fire on participants at the 'Mohsenin Sheikhan' school event. Among the victims were the chairman of Bent's city council, Yousef Shirani, the local Islamic Revolution Guards Corps (IRGC) commander Parviz Kadkhodaei, and two IRGC draftee soldiers, Javad Sadati and Mojib Baluchi.

In a separate incident in the city of Khash, also in Sistan and Baluchestan, armed outlaws attacked a police vehicle, killing two police officers.

Sistan and Baluchestan, located in southeastern Iran, shares borders with Pakistan and Afghanistan and has an extensive coastline along the Sea of Oman.
