Yemeni Forces Push Back Saudi Troops in al-Jawf’s al-Yatama

ALWAGHT- Yemen’s Armed Forces claimed that their forces had thwarted an advance by Saudi troops in the al-Yatama market area of al-Jawf, while also launching ballistic missile strikes against Saudi reinforcements positioned near al-Labanat.

Yemeni forces claimed they had repelled Saudi-backed troops who entered Souq al-Yatama in al-Jawf province, using flanking and ambush tactics to destroy military vehicles and armored units. They said the area had been cleared and that remaining forces were being pursued.

Separately, Ansarullah said it had halted another Saudi-backed advance toward the al-Labanat Mountains and launched ballistic missiles at reinforcements, reportedly damaging or destroying military vehicles and equipment.

The clashes followed a series of Saudi airstrikes and cruise missile attacks on several Yemeni provinces. Yemen said it responded with missile and drone strikes on Saudi military and energy facilities, while Saudi authorities confirmed that southern energy sites were hit, causing fires and temporary operational disruptions.
