Alwaght- Syrian military forces and their allies are on the verge of fully liberating Eastern part of Aleppo amid frantic efforts by foreign-backers of terrorists to rescue their overwhelmed lackeys holed up in the region.
This comes just days after Syrian government forces and their allies liberated a neighborhood southeast of Aleppo, which now turning their efforts to other parts of the region. Aleppo city has been divided between the government and the terrorists, including al-Qaeda off-shoot al-Nusra Front, since 2012.
International and regional backers of terrorists groups in the strategic Syrian region are now desperately trying to save the Takfiri terrorists by using all possible tactics to delay the Syrian government military operations and advances in the region.
France, Britain using UN to save terrorists
French Foreign Minister Jean-Marc Ayrault has called for an urgent Security Council meeting on Aleppo to “put in place means to end the hostilities and to allow humanitarian aid to get through unhindered.”
On Monday also Britain called for an immediate ceasefire in Aleppo claiming a humanitarian catastrophe threatened the Syrian city.
Vitaly Churkin, Russia’s envoy to the UN has called the French initiative an attempt “to accuse the Syrian government and Russia of something, especially, at the time when the Syrian authorities launch a counter-offensive in an attempt trying to regain control of some territories.”
Erdogan's wild claims
Following the advances and success by Syrian forces, Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan said his country's forces intervened in Syria's civil war to overthrow President Bashar al Assad. This remarks surprised Russia which has been engaging in rapprochement with Erdogan. Kremlin officials say the statement contradicted previous assurances and was out of sync with Moscow’s view on the situation. "We hope that in the near future there will be explanations on this from our Turkish partners," Russian presidential spokesman Dmitry Peskov told reporters on Wednesday. The remarks by Erdogan are related to the events in Aleppo and certainly Erdogan is distraught by the battlefield progress of the Syrian forces against terrorists backed by Ankara.
Qaradawi comes to the rescue of takfiri terrorists
Elsewhere, frantic efforts to save terrorists in Aleppo have taken a 'religious' angle with rabid Wahabbi cleric Yusuf Qaradawi, urging his followers around the world to 'come to the aid of their brothers and sisters in Aleppo'. The call by Qaradawi, based in the Qatari capital Doha, is not surprising as he was echoing the sentiments of his Qatari benefactors. A few days ago, Qatari Foreign Minister Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdulrahman al-Thani said the tiny Persian Gulf Sheikhdom will continue to arm terrorists in Syria.
Israeli regime hits Syrian army to strengthen terrorists
The recent airstrikes by Israeli regime forces were carried out as part of the concerted efforts to stop or at least delay the defeat of terrorists in Aleppo.
According to media reports, Israeli warplanes have carried out missile attacks against two targets inside Syria. Syria’s state television reported on Wednesday that the Israeli regime's air force had fired two missiles from the Lebanese airspace towards an area near Damascus. It said the attack had fallen short of causing any casualties. The missiles fell on the Saboura area close to the highway connecting the capital Damascus, to the Lebanese capital Beirut. This illegal incursion into Syria by Israeli regime's air force also aimed to divert public attention from Syrian military advances against terrorists in Aleppo while opening new warfronts.
The Syrian Army and its allies have managed to liberate more than a third of the territory previously occupied by foreign-backed terrorists in eastern Aleppo and as Damascus advances, there is bound to be concerted efforts by enemies of the Syrian state to stop the complete liberation of this strategic city.
