Alwaght- The Iraqi Popular Mobilization Forces (PMF) cut off the route ISIS terrorists used to flee into Syria.
As part of the operation to liberate Mosul form ISIS, the PMF initiated on Saturday an attack on north of Mosul to liberate villages and block the terrorists' route to Syria.
The forces managed to liberate 7 villages reaching the areas only 35 kilometers from the ISIS bastion, Mosul.
The villages formed a route that the ISIS terrorists used to flee from Iraq into Syria as part of an alleged US and Saudi plot to transfer terrorists and tip the balance in favor of militants who are fighting Syrian governments since 2011 in an unsuccessful attempt to topple President Assad.
The Iraqi national army and police force initiated a long awaited operation in October to liberate Iraq's second-largest city that fell to ISIS in 2014.
Mosul is the last stronghold of the terrorist group and liberating it could mean a victory over terrorists in Iraq.
