Tehran Condemns Israeli Military Actions Against Yemen

ALWAGHT- The spokesperson for Iran’s Foreign Ministry vehemently denounced the Zionist regime’s military assaults on Yemen.

Esmaeil Baghaei, an Iranian spokesman, condemned the recent Israeli airstrikes targeting Yemen’s key locations, including the ports of Hudaydah, Ras-Isa, as-Salif, and the Ras al-Kathib power station. He described these attacks on Yemen’s economic and public infrastructure as blatant crimes against the Yemeni people.

Baghaei criticized the United Nations Security Council for its failure to act against these Israeli aggressions and pointed to the support from the US and some Western countries as enabling the Zionist regime’s continued impunity. He emphasized that this backing is a fundamental reason behind ongoing Israeli attacks on regional nations.

Furthermore, Baghaei called on all regional and global governments to fulfill their legal and moral duties by opposing the genocidal acts in the occupied Palestinian territories and holding Israeli officials accountable. The recent Israeli strikes followed claims by Israel that it intercepted a missile launched by Yemeni forces, marking the first attacks on Yemen in nearly a month.
