Alwaght- Addressing thousands of his supporters in the northern city of Sa’ada on Tuesday, Abdul-Malik al-Houthi pointed out to the existence of political factions conspiring with some regional states, noting that they want to ignite conflicts and create problems in Yemen.
He added that such factions try to create chaos in Yemen by ignoring the public interests of the nation.
Al-Houthi also warned conspiring factions against the dire consequences that their efforts will have at the end.
Ansarullah leader went on to say that tension-seeking factions are opposed to the establishment of stability in Yemen as they could obtain their goals by means of chaos and turmoil.
Houthi highlighted that Ansarullah is after partnership with other players in Yemen’s political arena, and that Yemen’s revolution holds no enmity towards neighboring Arab countries as well as the international community.
President Abd Rabbuh Mansur Hadi and the cabinet of Prime Minister Khaled Bahah resigned on Thursday after Ansarullah revolutionaries seized the presidential palace in the capital.
The parliament, however, rejected Hadi’s resignation pending an emergency session.
Yemen has been the scene of tensions after the Ansarullah revolutionaries arrested Ahmed Awad bin Mubarak, Hadi’s chief of staff, at a checkpoint in the western district of Hada on January 17.
The impoverished Arab country is currently grappling with a severe political crisis between the central government and Ansarullah revolutionaries.
In September 2014, Ansarullah revolutionary fighters gained control of Sana’a following a four-day battle with army forces loyal to General Ali Mohsen al-Ahmar, the half-brother of the country’s former dictator, Ali Abdullah Saleh.
Propaganda against Ansarullah
A harsh propaganda has been conducted against Ansarullah in Yemen after their revolution in the capital Sana'a. Several reasons fall behind such aggressive media against the revolutionary movement of Ansarullah in Yemen.
However, before discussing the reasons this paper displays the main players behind this propaganda: Western and their Arab allies' media. Mainly Saudi Arabia backed up by US and Israeli regime stand behind distorting the reality of the Yemeni revolution led by Ansarullah.
Why are the West and their Arab allies against Ansarullah?
Simply we can say Ansurullah is not the type that may be a puppet in Western or Saudi hands as was the previous president Ali Abdullah Saleh. Ansarullah's agenda does not fall in the interest of the West and their Arab allies.
It has been said that the founder Saudi king Abdul-Aziz bin Saud said to his people, " Your glory is with the hhumiliation of Yemen, and your humiliation is with the glory of Yemen."
Experts actually see this equation being transcribed in the current situation where Saudi Arabia is losing its influence in Yemen and the area and Ansarullah are rapidly increasing in power.
Some analysts describe Ansarullah's leader Abdul-Malik al-Houthi as becoming "the Master of the Arabian peninsula."
Therefore, Saudi Arabia is trying all what it can to stop such a revolution and distort its image in public media in order to preserve its major influence in the area.
The propaganda is being applied by turning the Ansarullah movement in Yemen into a sectarian movement in the eyes of the public.
The West and its Arab allies sense that Ansarullah have entered the axis of resistance in the region which will jeopardize the stability of the Persian Gulf monarchies and US and Western interest in the area.
There is also a fear that Ansarullah may take control of Bab-el-Mandeb strait, which will directly affect Saudi Arabia, US, and their Allies.
Israeli regime also fears the gain of power by Ansarullah which may be a potential ally of Iran, the ultimate enemy of the Zionist entity.
All these fears led to an aggressive propaganda on Ansarullah movement, where undoubtedly the US, Israeli regime, and Saudi Arabia have a great hand in controlling worldwide media.
