American Boots will stick on the Grounds of Iraq and Syria

American Boots will stick on the Grounds of Iraq and Syria

ISIS terrorist group, initially trained and funded covertly by  America has became an excuse for the same country to invade to Iraq and Syria. America and its allies created ISIS to topple Syria's president Bashar al Assad in a proxy war but after years terrorists failed to fulfill their masters' demands. Therefore, godfathers came to the conclusion that it is the time for direct action, and what pretext better that fighting their handmade terrorism?

American Senator, Lindsey Graham, has played his role in Americas plan to return to West East by saying that "over 4000 ground forces are needed to send into Iraq and Syria.  'To defeat ISIS terrorist group, we are obliged to send ground forces into Iraq and Syria,' he stated, on Sunday.  By supporting American attack on ISIS terrorist groups strongholds in Syria and Iraq".  He added that America should send the ground forces into Iraq and Syria, considering it as an opportunity.

As CNN reports, Graham claimed that Iraqi and Syrian forces are not able to defeat this terrorist group.  In addition, airstrikes would not destroy ISIS terrorists.  Therefore, despite Obama's reluctance to apply its ground forces, he should send the ground forces into Iraq in order to fight against ISIS terrorist group. Graham added, “There is no way that I can see how we can fix the problem in Iraq and Syria without American ground troops.  This mythical Arab army that we are trying to get up to go in on the ground in Syria will need a lot of American hand-holding and if it takes a year before we can go into Mosul, I can only imagine how strong ISIL will be.”

“So Mr. ‘President,’ level with the American people, you need boots on the ground.  But, these are human beings with hopes and dreams not just boots.  American soldiers need to go back to Syria and Iraq, as part of a coalition and we’re going to need more than 4,000 to destroy ISIS," Graham stated.

He also stated Obama's proposal to train and equip the moderate groups in Syria seems militarily wrong.  To be performed successfully, this plan needs a no-fly zone and stoppage of Syrian army's attack on armed groups' strongholds.  Obama, on 10 September, said his strategy in Television program.  He claimed that the objective of his plan is to weaken and destroy ISIS terrorist group in Iraq and Syria.

Nevertheless, airstrikes in Iraq and Syria have only resulted in destruction of Syria's substructures that aim at toppling down Bashar's government, the aim that they failed to achieve via proxy war. Therefore, they have chosen direct military action as the final option that they have experienced several times during past decades in Vietnam, Afghanistan, Iraq, and so on. Although all of them led to absolute failure for America and its allies, it seems that they did not learn from their mistakes.
