massacre of Shiite

Wednesday 19 March 2014
massacre of Shiite

Liaqat Baloch is the Secretary General of Jamaat-e-Islami, Pakistan's Islamic religio-political party. He was also the secretary-general of the Muttahida Majlis-e-Amal (MMA) and the deputy leader of the opposition in the National Assembly.

Q: what are the reasons of killing Shiite in Pakistan?

They want to destabilize Pakistan and prove Pakistan as the first treat. They want to prove that in Pakistan people cannot live with each other. Because Pakistan is an atomic country and we have a conflict with India on Kashmir. Therefore, we are facing many problems from the outside, from the America, from the India, and from the European forces. Therefore, they create sectarian problems in Pakistan. Otherwise, Shiite and Sunni can live in a same location peacefully. There is no difference between the people, even they are Shiite they are Sunni but it is unfortunate that they wants to target Shiite in Quetta then they target Sunni in Karachi then they target the doctors and scholars of the Shiite, they want to target religious institutions in different parts of Pakistan. Therefore, we condemn the killing of Shiite and Sunni and their scholars and religious person who are cooperating to fight against the sectarianism in Pakistan

Q: which groups are behind massacre of Shiites in Pakistan?

It is very much clear. When a Shiite person is killed some there are some Sunni persons who are used to do that and when a Sunni person is killed there are some Shiite is who are used to do this evil act. So I believe there is master mind and a master, namely America and West that want to create manage this region according to their own design and agenda. So actually behind this killing there is one master mind that is America. America is world terrorist this time.

Q: what is the approach of Saudi Arabia toward Islamic Awakening?

Actually there are a lot of differences between Muslim countries.  Definitely Saudi Arabia is not willing to accept the revolution within Saudi Arabia; they were afraid of revolution in Iran and labeled it as Shiite revolution. When a change happened in Egypt then Saudi Arabia supported the American design and they supported General Sisi and military rule in Egypt.  So basically they are afraid for their own purpose and they want to abolish any revolution whether it is in Iran or Turkey. Indeed they are against any revolution even in one Muslim country.

Q: why Pakistan does not take any actions against this killing?

We can say that in Pakistan the military generals, military persons, security forces, police officers, and intelligence agents also are targeted. I think that many people do not know that we are facing a lot of problems from Afghanistan. In last decade Russia was in Afghanistan but their target was Pakistan and Americans are in the Afghanistan now, but actually their target is Iran. They want to push the Muslim countries into different conflicts. So, I think that America and its presence in Afghanistan is the main reason of regions 'problem. I believe that the military rule in Pakistan general Pervez Musharraf made a big mistake when he accepted the American demands and surrendered to Americans. He let them use Pakistan intelligence logistic facilities to create their own rules and strengthen their influence in different areas. But now the people of Pakistan are aware of everything and they are putting pressure on government to get rid of American policies and behave like an independent country.
