Alwaght- Iran's Foreign Minister has summoned German ambassador to Tehran following an anti-Iranian UN human rights resolution drafted by Berlin.
Tehran expressed strong protest against the “interventionist and baseless statement by German officials, said the director of the Western European Division in the foreign ministry.
He underscored that the Islamic Republic of Iran will not cooperate at all with any mechanism incorporated in the resolution.
The German diplomat said he will convey the Iranian protest to Berlin.
Earlier in November, Tehran summoned the German ambassador over “interventionist and irresponsible” comments by the European country’s head of state in support of the recent Western-instigated riots in Iran.
Riots broke out in the country after death of a 22-year-old Iranian woman who fainted in a police station and died in hospital.
The riots were apparently supported by foreign sides, including German who along with other Western countries imposed sanctions on Iran and advocated terrorist and separatist groups.
