Axis of Resistances refers to countries and movements with common political goal, i.e., resisting against Zionist regime, America and other western powers. Iran, Syria, Hezbollah in Lebanon, and Hamas in Palestine are considered as the Axis of Resistance.
Kurds are an ethnic group in the Middle East, mostly inhabiting a region, which spans adjacent parts of Iran, Iraq, Syria, and Turkey. They are an Iranian people and speak the Kurdish languages, which form a subgroup of the Northwestern Iranian branch of Iranian languages.
Sayyed Nasrallah added that "in the barrens of Arsal there were also great achievements and Al-Nusra front was defeated."
According to Al Manar TV, the Hezbollah Secretary General made the remarks Wednesday at the second Conference of Renovation and Intellectual Jurisprudence of Imam Khamenei, his eminence announced that "the battle against ISIS has begun, and they are the ones who started with the fight, which is better than us starting it."
Sayyed Nasrallah pointed out that "Yesterday's attack had several goals, and the resistance fighters confronted it courageously, killing tens of ISIS terrorists and destroying their tanks."
"The resistance has certainly presented dear martyrs in one of the fiercest battles and we ask Allah to let them be an honor and dignity for their families and for us," he added.
Moreover, he stressed that "we will move forward with this battle until erasing this malicious terrorist existence on our borders, and we reassure our firm determination and insistence that we will not let any terror stay on our borders or our jroud."
"They will definitely be defeated, but this needs time, and we are working patiently to achieve this goal."
Sayyed Nasrallah emphasized that the battle against this Takfiri thought is not only through politics and media, but also through intellectualism, because the enemies have moved us to the state of defending Islam due to the Takfiri attempt to disfigure it.
The Hezbollah leader referred to the significance of Leader of the Islamic Revolution Ayatollah Sayyed Ali Khamenei, as he plays three roles: "He is knowledgeable in jurisprudence and has been giving lectures in that for over 20 years... He is the leader of the Islamic Republic of Iran, which requires great courage and qualification. Since the departure of Imam Khomeini, and amid the threats, conspiracies, and sanctions that Iran has been facing, Imam Khamenei has confronted the threats, turning them to opportunities until Iran became a regional power... Thirdly, his eminence is a great Islamic intellect, as he is one of the most significant religious references."
Hezbollah secretary general highlighted the special character of Imam Khamenei as a leader, considering that "I haven't known any leader in the world who gives this much of his time for intellectual issues and communicates directly to the fears and gaps the nation is suffering from."
Nasrallah also praised Leader of the Islamic Revolution, describing him as an Islamic intellectual, who has direct connection with the masses and called on both Shia and Sunni Muslims to benefit from Ayatollah Khamenei’s leadership.
