Alwaght-Turkish President Tayyip Erdogan discussed the Yemen crisis with Saudi king, emir of Qatar and Pakistan Prime Minister in telephone calls after he paid a visit to Iran.
During the 45 minute call, Erdogan and Nawaz Shari whose country voted on Friday not to join the war against Yemen agreed to accelerate efforts to find a peaceful resolution to the Yemen crisis.
On Friday evening Erdogan discussed "regional issues" with King Salman of Saudi Arabiaand Qatar's Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani, presidential sources said, without specifically naming Yemen.
Turkey has not taken an active role in the Saudi-led aggression on Yemen so far and it seems that it won't, because Turkey don’t want to deteriorate its relations with its powerful neighborhood that it assumes will play more active role in the region after its nuke deal with p5+1.
