Alwaght- Never in history had it occurred that an Arab coalition was formed to defend its common interests or itself against a foreign interference in the Arab League Decisions, or against the Zionist invasion that eradicated nations and plundered their lands. According to local and international newspapers, in the previous days, the Saudi led-Arab coalition launched a war against the Yemeni territories as an attempt to "re-stabilize the situation". But what is this stability that would be held on the severed limbs of the Yemeni civilians, among which are children, women and elderly? This continuous massacre and destruction since the past weeks have trespassed the international laws that are set to protect human rights. It became an international war crime par excellence.
The Saudi crimes are a Zionist replicate with an Arab execution
The U.S-Saudi aggression against Yemen has rapidly turned into a U.S-Arab coalition against a country that has always suffered from conspiracies planned by the Arabian Persian Gulf States, particularly Saudi Arabia.
What is interesting is the fact that the aggressors herded a lot of arguments to justify their aggression against the unarmed civilians. Of course, the media along with the politicians, the lawmakers and the statesmen - whom their conscience was bribed at times with Dollars and at other times with Riyals – are trying to confirm the legitimacy of the airstrikes on the Yemeni territories. It is a clear hit to all law and policy standards. Which mental, law or political logic authorizes the murder of unarmed civilians in Yemen? Who gave them the permission to military interfere in Yemen in order to change a present political situation? Who gave them the permission to try to break the Yemeni determination to have a certain political approach?
There is no doubt that the joined Arab forces against Yemen is an aggression and a crime that violates the international law, as well as, the Islamic law – which Saudi Arabia claims to judge with. There is also no doubt that the Saudi practices against the Yemeni people are a full description of the word 'crime'.
The U.S-Arab regimes aggression against Yemen is an act that violates the United Nations Charter and the General International Laws. It violates several principles of those listed in the United Nations Charter. Among which are the principles of not interfering in the internal affairs of the countries, respecting the sovereignty of the countries, not using force against any country and not using it as a threat, and other principles that could not deny the obvious flagrant U.S-Saudi interference and violations. Surely, the violation of these principles is a threat to the international peace and security.
It appears that the states who are participating in this aggression are using the argument of protecting the people, as well as, the political legitimacy of certain popular revolutionary movements. Nothing can justify an attack of one country against another. No state has the right to use force to impose anything on another state unless it is a Security Council decision. Surely, the Security Council, as well, has no right to military interfere directly; it has to gradually proceed, starting with political and economic sanctions leading toward the necessity of military interfering in the end.
It should be noted that the Saudi aggression recalled the scenes of the Zionists criminal attacks on the Palestinian, Lebanese and other Arab people. These scenes confirm that the massacre of the citizens and children originate from the same terrorist thinking and serves the same interest which is hostile to humanity everywhere and no matter in what name it is called.
The Saudi violations in numbers.
As part of monitoring the series of crimes of the U.S-Saudi aggression against Yemen, the Yemen Civil Coalition reported that the aggression led to genocide crimes against the innocent civilians, and has deliberately destroyed economic and service facilities. However, this aggression did not achieve any of its announced goals as opposed by the steadfastness of the people and the readiness to respond in an appropriate manner.
In the first report in monitoring the aggression crimes, the Yemen Civil Coalition reported that Saudi Arabia and its allies have committed genocides, among which is the massacre of Bani Hawwat near Sanaa airport. This airstrike over the airport led to the destruction of 14 houses over their inhabitants, resulting in the martyrdom of 24 Yemeni citizens and 43 were wounded, among which were women and children. Moreover, two massacres occurred in Kitaf and Al-Boqaa in Saada, where 30 civilians were martyred and 41 were injured, among which were women and children as well.
The U.S-Saudi Aviation targeted a camp of unarmed displaced citizens in Al-Mizreq District in Hajjah Province leading to the martyrdom of more than 30 civilians and injuring more than 40, most of them are women and children. This crime was considered by law experts as a crime against humanity, and called for the persecution of the perpetrators by International courts. The U.S-Saudi crimes continued as it targeted 3 gas tankers and gas stations in Yarim Governorate in Ibb District, and the result was the martyrdom of more than 14 civilians and the injury of dozens.
The Saudi Aviation committed a large massacre by targeting a Dairy Yamani Factoryin Al-Hadidah, where 38 civilians were martyred and dozens were injured. In the same day, four others were martyred, among which were women and children, as a result of a Saudi raid on the inhabitants of the bordering Razeh Governorate in Saadah Province. In the same governorate, eight family members were martyred and seven were injured while their cars capsized due to the Saudi bombardment.
Moreover, the Saudi aggression has destroyed economic and service facilities. It has bombarded the civil airports in Sanaa, Al-Hadidah, Aden, Taiz, and Saada; the seaports in Al-Makhaa, Aden, and Midi; the power stations and the gas stations in Saada and Jomrok Harad; and a hospital. This criminal Saudi aggression did not have any mercy. It executed an aerial prohibition preventing the arrival of aids to more than 5000 Yemeni civilians; most of them have medical conditions. It has prevented the arrival of the Red Crescent aids.
The crimes committed by Saudi Arabia against the Yemeni people cannot be camouflaged. The international laws failed to protect the Yemeni people from the Saudi violations and crimes. Despite the daily Saudi violations of the international laws, neither the international law not the Arab law reacted to protect this oppressed nation. When will the international law rise to defend this oppressed nation? When will the international law be capable of confronting the America, Saudi and Zionist interests in the region?
