Alwaght- Up to 40,000 forces have been prepared to attack the Syrian city of Raqqa that fell to ISIS in 2014.
The US-led Coalition says a group of 30,000 to 40,000 forces are ready to attack ISIS in the northern Syrian city of Raqqa.
The so-called Syrian Democratic Forces are supposed to attack the city in the coming weeks. The Washington air force also claims to support the attack to defeat the ISIS terrorists in the city.
Turkey, on the other hand, has strongly objected the role of the Syrian Democratic Forces that Ankara accuses as an umbrella group led by the Kurdish PKK and PYD forces that Turkey regards as terrorists.
The Turkish President, Reccep Tayyip Erdogan has repeatedly requested them to be removed from the operation and Turkey troops be replaced in offensive against the Raqqa city near Turkish border.
Coalition spokesman Air Force Col. John Dorrian says there will be ongoing dialogue between the US and its coalition partners as well as allies to decide who would actually would go in and hold the city while the isolation operation is completed.
Both the US and the Turkish troops have repeatedly violated the Syrian territory claiming to attack the ISIS terrorists while there have been reports of their efforts to support terrorist groups against the Syrian national army that has been fighting terrorist for more than five years.
Turkish border guards have been known to let free passage of ISIS terrorists into Syria as well as their free return from the city as Damascus advances further into their held lands.
UN Ambassador Nadia recently said on her Twitter account that the ISIS terrorists are using their real passports to flee Syria and Iraq through Turkish borders.
The US troops have also been reported to back terrorist groups, most famous incident was when the US-led fighter jets attacked Syrian army in Deir Ezzor, killing more than 80 soldiers and paving the way for terrorists to capture a strategically important mountain.
