Alwaght- Two bomb explosions hit the Iraqi capital killing at least three people on Monday.
The Turkish Anadolu Agency reported a police officer as saying that two civilians and one police officer were killed when explosions hit two districts of Baghdad.
One explosive device went off near an army patrol in northern Baghdad’s Al-Tarmiya district, Yasser al-Mustafa, a police captain said.
The explosion killed an army first lieutenant and injured three others.
In another incident in Baghdad’s Abu Dasheer neighborhood two civilians were killed when a bomb tore through a market, according to the same source.
The explosion also left eight people injured.
No group has yet claimed responsibility for the attacks, but ISIS terrorists have increased terrorist attacks against Iraqi civilians after Iraqi army has launched an extensive operation to liberate its northern city of Mosul that fell to ISIS in 2014. The city is considered the last stronghold of the group in Iraq and liberating it could mean a victory over terrorists in the country.
