ALWAGHT- Russian President Vladimir Putin received a significant message from Iran during a meeting with an advisor to the Leader of the Islamic Revolution, Ayatollah Seyyed Ali Khamenei.
Ali Larijani, senior adviser to Iran's Leader, met with Russian President Vladimir Putin in Moscow to deliver Tehran’s official message on regional and international matters.
At a Monday briefing, Iranian Foreign Ministry Spokesman Esmaeil Baghaei stated that as the President’s special envoy, Larijani conveyed Iran’s broad perspectives on regional developments, international issues, and bilateral relations. Baghaei described the meeting as constructive, highlighting discussions on bilateral ties and recent regional events over the past few weeks.
Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov confirmed the meeting on July 20, noting that Larijani provided an assessment of the heightened tensions in the Middle East and issues related to Iran’s nuclear program. Putin reiterated Moscow’s established positions on stabilizing the region and pursuing a political resolution to the Iranian nuclear issue.
