Alwaght- Four people were killed when gunmen attacked a vehicle in Egypt’s restive Sinai Peninsula on Wednesday.
An unspecified number of armed men attacked a minibus of North Sinai’s city of Arish, an Egyptian security source told Anadolu Agency.
“Three policemen and the driver were killed,” the source added anonymously due to restrictions on speaking to media.
The gunmen stole the weapons of the dead police officer and fled the scene.
No group has claimed the attack yet.
Egypt has been battling an insurgency in the Sinai Peninsula amid militant attacks that mainly targeted security forces.
