Alwaght- The Syrian forces managed to intercept a contact between the US forces and the ISIS terrorists minutes before American fighter jets raid against Syrian army position earlier this month, al-Mayadin TV reported.
"Syrian army possesses the recorded voice of the contact between the US forces and the ISIS terrorists,” Syrian parliament speaker, Hadiyeh Khalaf Abbas said.
US led coalition forces attacked a Syrian army position and killed 80 soldiers earlier on September 17. Washington claimed it was a “mistake” but Russia and Syria rejected the claim and condemned the attack as collaboration with the ISIS terrorist group.
"The contact was made minutes before US airstrike against Syrian army position in Deir Ezzor,” the speaker said.
Syrian foreign minister, Walid al-Muallem previously said “the attack was not a spontaneous act but was carried out after 50 minutes of coordination with the ISIS terrorists”.
