Iran and UAE Call for Joint Efforts to Enhance Regional Security

ALWAGHT- Top security officials from Iran and the United Arab Emirates emphasized the importance of regional cooperation to maintain stability and security.

In a phone call with UAE National Security Advisor Tahnoun bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Iran’s top security official, Ali Akbar Ahmadian, welcomed Abu Dhabi’s condemnation of Israel’s recent military actions against Iran. He emphasized the importance of regional solidarity in the face of external threats and highlighted the need for stronger cooperation among neighboring countries.

Ahmadian stressed that the security of Persian Gulf nations is interconnected, warning that any threat to one country could destabilize the entire region. He reaffirmed Iran’s commitment to strengthening ties with its neighbors to uphold collective security and stability.

Tahnoun echoed these views, affirming that regional security must be a shared responsibility. He warned of the broader consequences that any disruption to a single country’s security could bring and expressed the UAE’s support for dialogue as a means to address regional challenges.
