Alwaght- Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) and Tehrik Suba Hazara Party (TSHP), and other Pakistani parties advocating creation of new provinces in the country, have pledged on Wednesday to struggle for their cause.
They reached an agreement called the Abbottabad Declaration which would help strengthening their movement in order to create new provinces in Pakistan.
According to the agreement, the new provinces should be run based on new administrative units rather than dialects and ethnics. Pakistani parties have made a commission including famous figures of Pakistan such as Rasheed Godail in order to observe the process of creation of new provinces in this country.
Haider Zaman from Tehrik Suba Hazara Party was appointed as the head of this commission.
According to The Express Tribune, "speaking to the media MQM’s MNA Rasheed Godail who held a meeting with TSHP’s chief Baba Haider Zaman, disclosed that the two parties have signed an agreement for a joint struggle for new provinces. He said the agreement, Haider Zaman said that the demand for new provinces was not linguistic rather it is aimed at creation of new administrative units".
