ISIS Terrorists office in Istanbul

Thursday 2 October 2014
ISIS Terrorists office in Istanbul

According to Aydinlik Daily reported by German state TV Begun, ISIS terrorist group is operating in Turkey’s largest city Istanbul by asserting that the fundamentalist terrorist organization has an informal office in the conservative district of Fatih, adding that European jihadists are coming here and receiving travel allowance to continue onto Syria or Iraq.

Among information revealed by Begun based on information from members of European intelligence agencies and a European Union commission are the following issues:

·         Militants are coming to the Fatih office to received $400 for travel expenses together with receiving help to get to Syria.

·         There are at least two thousand militants who came from Europe now fighting with ISIS terrorist group. According to commission members, most of these are first stopping in Istanbul.

·         In addition, according to Bugün, the ARD news report stated that at least 2,000 people joined ISIS Terrorist group from Europe and received ideological and military training in camps in Syria, with some of them returning to their home countries after fighting on ISIS fronts.

·         Such militants can be called at any time to come back to Syria whenever ISIS terrorist group needs them.

According to European Commission officials, militants who return home after fighting for ISIS terrorist group put the security of European countries at risk. Begun also notes that some of these people spend their annual leave in the Syrian training camps before returning home to their jobs. According to officials, these individuals are "passive" at the moment, but are trained for action in Europe for when "the time arrives". It is also mentioned in the German TV news report that there are 140 Dutch and 385 Belgian citizens who have joined ISIS.

The major problem of the terrorist Islamic State of Iraq and the Levant operating just to the south of Turkey in Iraq and Syria is one of the key threats the new Turkish leader Ahmet Davutoglu will face in his first months as prime minister, especially since the terrorist group is holding 49 Turkish officials hostages after capturing the nation’s consulate in Mosul.

Turkey's President Recep Erdogan has always firmly denied the ISIS terrorist group's presence in the country, but information revealed by Turkey news papers shows that not only ISIS terrorists are present at Turkey but also they are trained supported and armed by Turkey.

Erdogan's government has spared no effort to topple down Bashar al Assad government. According to analysts, his government's cooperation with America-led coalition is also for achieving this goal through destroying Syria's substructures and bombing army's positions. The same goal that America and its Arab allies are following via their so-called anti-ISIS campaign.
