160 Killed in Paris Carnage Up to Now, ISIS Claimed Responsibility

Alwaght- French capital was rocked by unprecedented terrorist attacks on Friday, killing 160 and injuring 200, 80 seriously. Gunmen and bombers, some with AK and some with bombs strapped to them, attacked six sites throughout Paris, including restaurants, a concert hall and a sports stadium where the soccer match between France and Germany was underway .

According to France 24 the string of attacks that begun after 10pm local time was the deadliest violence struck the European country since World War II .

Paris Prosecutor spokeswoman Agnès Thibault-Lecuivre said eight extremists were after attacks, seven of them d in suicide bombings. However Prosecutor's office warned that "accomplices" could still be on loose .

There was no immediate verifiable claim of responsibility but ISIS terrorist group claimed in Twitter messages that it has carried them out .

"The State of the caliphate hit the house of the cross," one tweet said .

 Hollande, in an address to the nation, said he had declared a state of emergency, meaning border security will be ramped up. "We have to show compassion and solidarity and we also have to show unity and keep our cool. France must be strong and great," he said .

A day before carnage the ISIS terrorist group has warned it plans to attack Europe and Russia in the near future.  In a five-minute ISIS and threatened Russia with attacks in the near future, vowing to bring the Kremlin down .

The video is entitled "Soon Very Soon the Blood Will Spill like an Ocean" and was posted two weeks after a Russian commercial jet crashed in Egypt, killing 224 people. An ISIS affiliate has claimed it brought down the plane. An investigation is underway and experts are looking into all possible causes, including a terror attack .

Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov said that Russia's security agencies will look into the video, which also promises attacks on Europe .

 ISIS terrorist group has also claimed responsibility for the twin suicide blasts that have killed at least 41 people on a Shiite Muslim district in the Lebanese capital Beirut .

The Lebanese army issued a statement in which it indicated that two suicide bombers blew themselves up on Thursday at 6 p.m. in Ain al-Sikkeh Street in Borj al-Barajneh in Beirut Southern Suburb and that the dead body of a third terrorist who failed to blow himself up was found on the scene of the second blast .

In early January of this year, two gunmen attacked the Paris offices of the French satirical magazine Charlie Hebdo, killing 12 and wounding 11 .

Attackers, Kouachi brothers, were shot and killed in a standoff with police in Dammartin-en-Goele .

Amedy Coulibaly, an associate of Said and Cherif Kouachi, attacked a grocery store in Paris, taking more than a dozen people hostage and killing four. Coulibaly had killed a policewoman the day before, on January 8. Coulibaly was killed when police stormed the kosher market .
