Alwaght- Drones made by private companies are hugely profitable and attractive to those without conscience in the US administration, activist Melinda Pillsbury-Foster told.
"Because contracts are so lucrative, there is a lot on the line,” Pillsbury-Foster of the Drone Free Zone group told state-run Russian Sputik website, adding "Since ethics, as in harm done to people, is irrelevant to corporations, who focus only on the profits to be made for their stock holders, they are perfect partners for those without conscience in government."
"Those contractors have far more latitude in their actions than do US military personnel. They are not constrained and the profits are enormous for these corporate entities".
Hundreds of private contractors are aiding the US military and Special Operations forces to analyze drone intelligence used to target terrorist groups, the Bureau of Investigative Journalism reported.
Research by the Bureau of Investigative Journalism, an independent news organisation based at City University, London, revealed in a report that remarks on inefficiency of America's drone attack are true.
Contrary to the claims of America Secretary of State, who assert American drone strikes only target confirmed terrorist targets at the highest level, Bureau found that 96% of people killed in Americas drone attacks could not be identified as al Qaeda member.
